I am finally getting back into the Ragamuffin Quilts Studio. That's great news for all of us. It means creative fun time for me and lots of new items and fabrics for you! I have a new arrival coming early next week. Four prints of super cute flannel prints for baby boy. No worries, the girl prints are coming too, once they get restocked. Here are the four prints - I can make a custom rag quilt for you or a gift recipient or you can purchase yardage if you are a DIYer. Feel free to contact me if you want to pre-order. They are each on a 15 yard bolt. Happy sewing! Ragamuffin Quilts

I've been on a roll for orders with my newest addition of 6 pocket bags/purses. I've named this purse the "Helena" since it was ordered by my dear friend, Helena. :-) She chose the fabrics and they were such a big hit, I have 2 more orders to fill in the same prints. She is such a trend setter. LOL I will also have 2 more available for sale but just opposite as shown here. The green print will be on the outside pockets and the paisley for the larger interior/lining pocket. This one shown has a magnetic snap enclosure for a local friend, Tammy. She will use her bag as a daily purse while others are using for a poolside tote and another as a fashionable diaper bag without the magnetic snap closure. Custom orders are always welcome! Just contact me for more information.

John Deere Toddler Rag Quilt
|
Red Black Pick-a-Pocket Purse & Key Fobs
| |
My hubby was nice enough to finish clip this cute John Deere rag quilt for me today while he watched some football. I had no idea he was clipping away until he showed me it was done. :-) I will have it listed soon. I also finished one of my newest pick-a-pocket purses but I put this one together a little differently and need to finish off the seams with my serger. I think the lining is sturdier with this construction but that's just my own humble opinion. :-)

I love anything red/black/white and really like this mix. I have layouts of 2 different purses with matching key fobs using the same fabrics; just opposite of each other. I hope to make these tomorrow so stay tuned for finished pics. :-)

I am really loving this pattern and made another purse today. I made the straps just a bit longer than called for so it can be slipped over your shoulder too or carried in your hand. I already picked out a red, black, white print for my next one. This is a great bag for anyone that wants to stay organized; use as a project bag, daily purse, diaper bag; whatever you decide, you will have plenty of pockets to keep everything in order. This set is available for purchase in my Etsy shop HERE.

Finally made a Pick-A-Pocket Purse today along with a matching key fob. I printed the pattern quite some time ago but never got to it. This purse has 6 exterior pockets; handy for your keys, phone, etc. If you knit or crochet, it's a handy little project bag too! Fill the big interior section with yard and your needles, note cards, etc. in the exterior pockets. I plan to make more this week but I think I would prefer to add a magnetic snap for a closure; this pattern doesn't call for any closure. It's a nice compact size; only approx. 8" x 10" x 4" deep. I'll be listing this and others in my shop soon. If you want to place a custom order, just let me know.

Black Swirl

I just finished a quilted table runner. I used Tina Givens Poppies fabrics for the top and a black swirl I had on hand for the back. It measures approximately 26.5" x 13". It's available for purchase here with free domestic shipping.

My original brown wristlet is perfect for my iPod Touch & my I.D, debit cards, etc. However, my phone is a bit thicker and I found that I could only put my phone, I.D. & debit card in the brown wristlet. I went back to the cutting table today and made a new wristlet just a "tad" larger and it's perfect for my phone and all that I carry in my wallet. YAY!!!! Just need to add my closure but I ran out of supplies....sigh.

I made another item for little old me. :-D I'm so proud of myself to actually be making stuff for my own use. Someday I will have a quilt too. LOL Anywho, today's project was a netbook sleeve for my HP Pavilion dm1. The finished sleeve measures 9.5" x 12" and has a long velcro strap to help keep the netbook from sliding out. I really wanted a zipper but don't seem to have any the right size in my stash. That will be another project. ;-) This sleeve is fully lined with fusible fleece too for cushion. I used Joel Dewberry cotton fabrics in pretty shades of blue. I'm happy to make custom sleeves too! Just contact me for information, I will have a custom listing posted soon.
