 This 15" finished quilt block is a great signature block. I also think it would be great to personalize and embroider names on it for a quilt, table runner, tote and more. I see a tote for a mom or grandmother with the names of their children/grandchildren in the signature blocks. Now who wouldn't love one of those? Designed by Susan Druding. This is the "easiest pumpkin block" the reason this one is so easy is that you make only the pumpkin shape with paper piecing - then put in the eyes, nose, mouth and stem of the pumpkin with applique (a quick fusible approach is what I would use). It would be fun to machine quilt in the direction of the lines on the outside of a pumpkin. Click HERE for instructions and paper foundation template. |
