With such busy schedules these days it can be difficult to keep up with your love of sewing or quilting. That's where I find the joy of using precut pieces. Whether it be fat quarters, charms or strips or even tumblers, etc. it really helps with the cutting phase and most times the fabric coordination too. So I ask, what is your favorite precut? Inquiring minds want to know. :-) Just leave a comment & enter to win a free precut package. Winner will be selected and announced on Feb 25, 2012. Be sure to use a valid email account so I can notify you should you win. Comments will be posted even if you don't see it immediately. Your email account will not be displayed or shared with anyone. Thanks & happy sewing!

I took the first week of 2012 off from work to visit with family. After they left, I have managed to knock out and complete 2 UFO quilts and made a new rag quilt. :-) I hope the rest of 2012 is as productive as this first weekend! I finished this fun strip twist quilt, the quilt was actually completed except for the binding. I also finished this Winnie the Pooh baby quilt. The top had been done and pinned but needed to be quilted and bound. Last but not least, I made this new project as well. A super adorable and vibrant purple and lime green rag quilt. I need to take pics in the sunshine to capture the pretty colors.

I finished a UFO quilt today. It's my Pooh and Pinwheels baby quilt. I didn't use batting on this one. Instead I used four layers of thin flannel. It is toasty warm! It kept me warm while stitching the binding.

Here is my finished baby blue/brown nap time rag quilt. It's a great size for, well, nap time, daycare, grandma's house, or in the car. It measures 26" x 39" and made from all 100% cotton flannels. It's warm and super soft. Interested in this quilt but need a different size? Just contact me for a price quote. I have supplies in stock and ready to cut.

I am finished with the flannel shirt memory quilt. :-) It's throw size, perfect for displaying over a rocking chair or sofa. I used a blue flannel for the backing so it's super warm and extra soft. Now to wrap it up all pretty and send it off to my customer.
